Home Welcome Search		Welcome Thanks for visiting my website.  My name is Robin Gandy, and I've been teaching at Martin's Mill since August of 2000.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Texas at Tyler.  I'm TEA certified to teach Spanish on the secondary level, and English as a Second Language in grades K - 12. I love Martin's Mill because it's like an extended family.  I can get to know my students and their families on a personal level, which makes the classroom atmosphere much more relaxed.  One of my personal philosophies in life is to love what you do, and to laugh while you're doing it.  I try to incorporate lots of laughter with learning in my classroom. I have a wonderful family.  My husband, Chip, and I have been married since September 1, 1990, and we have two beautiful children -- Page and Ty.  Page attends Martin's Mill Elementary, and Ty attends Sunshine Friends Pre-school in Van.  We live in the Colfax community with our horses, dogs and cat.   Our entire family is active in the Canton Trail Rider's organization, where I serve as the Points Secretary and Reporter.  My husband serves as a director, and he and the kids participate in  play days (horseback events).
