Social Media Threat

Good Afternoon, 
In an effort to be transparent, this afternoon Martin's Mill Administration was made aware of a social media post regarding the safety and well being of our students. Our threat assessment team took immediate action to investigate the situation. Local law enforcement was contacted, and in consultation with our threat assessment team, determined the post contained no malice. Additional action and follow up, in conjunction with local law enforcement, will be ongoing to ensure all MMISD safety measures and protocols have been taken. The district will continue to put the safety of our students, staff and stakeholders at the forefront of all our decision making.
